She leaves the Earth with Zaphod Beeblebrox and travels with him on the spaceship Heart of Gold, where she and Arthur next meet, shortly after the Earth has been destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. She later changes her name to Trillian, because she feels it is more ‘space-y’.
